Kantha Embroideries

Kantha or Kanta is a popular form of embroidery that has its origins in West Bengal and Bangladesh. The embroidery which is characterised by simple running stitches is used to product beautiful motifs and designs. Originally made on sarees and dhotis, Kantha embroidery is now made on various clothing as well as home linen products.
